=A0=A0=A0=A0I vividly remember hearing about Elvis' death . I was
sitting on the couch, opening my mail and the TV was tuned to "The Mike
Douglas Show." The station broke in and announced that they were getting
reports from Memphis that Elvis had died, but the reports weren't
confirmed yet. The initial report said that he had choked to death.

When the news was confirmed later, all the stations were covering it
and I remember for several days, the radio stations played Elvis music
very heavily and the newspapers were full of Elvis stories. This was in
the days before 24 hours news stations such as CNN, MSNBC and Fox. I can
only imagine how heavily his death would be covered today.

=v= I'm glad Michael J. Fox is well enough to return to television.
But if he wants to shake off the "Evil Anti-Elvis" image, he probably
shouldn't have announced it on the 35th anniversary of The King's
disappearance.
