On the presumption that you are making a serious inquiry.........
Spelling on The Stone was an album put out by L.S. Records, a division of
Curb Records, back around 1988. It is not Elvis Presley. Hot band playing
on the tracks, but clearly not our Elvis. The singers name, if I remember,
is Dan Willis.
It's a surprisingly solid record, if you can get past what the purpose of
the record was...to make people think Elvis was alive. I loved the songs
Hit The Bricks, and Outside Looking In. The singer is all right, but hushed
in a lot of parts, I suppose in an attempt at making people unsure of who it
is singing. I've heard that Lee Stoller was behind this record, with
Christy Lane.
As for how you can get it, it's kinda rare. I have seen it in bins, but
aside from that, I don't know. Any questions, ask away! :-)
Dice.
Does anyone know if the Elvis album "Spelling On The Stone" is available
on
CD ? If so, where can it be purchased ?
Thanks

It is Dan Willis singing. He was in Branson years ago, and he is a super singer. I saw him so many times at the Cristy Lane Theater.
